Department Awarded Three Research Awards from AAO-HNS's CORE Program

The Department of Otolaryngology is happy to congratulate the 2009 recipients of research awards from the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery's (AAO-HNS) CORE program sponsored by our clinical societies. This is indeed a banner year! This year's recipients join a growing list of recent NYU winners including Luc Morris, Daniel Jethanamest, and Kevin Wang in obtaining similar funding.

It is noteworthy that the proposed research spans the entire spectrum of Otolaryngology (laryngology, auditory neuroscience, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery) reflecting the broad clinical and research strength of our department. Further, the research highlights collaborations across departments, institutes, and institutions.
